This album is much in the same thread as "Exile".  Gary explores his relationship (or non-relationship) with God.

The best track on the album is "A Prayer For The Unborn". Gary deals with his wife's real-life miscarriage.   This song more than any other really underscores the struggle between his atheistic beliefs and the existence of a God that he presumes is anything but benevolent.
